About ejob
ejob, JobExplorer and CareerJournal were started in 1996 by graduates
of UC Berkeley. Within a very brief period of time, ejob had clients like
Lucent, Siebel, Clarity, Apple, Cisco and a host of start-ups. (In 2000,
CareerJounal.com was acquired from our group by Dow Jones.)
Our program has always been a bit different from the monster career
portals (no pun intended). Here is a brief list of the ejob differences.
- We only post technical jobs
- We NEVER allows third party search firms or job shops to post
on our service
- We NEVER allow bogus job postings (MLMS, resume trolling)
- We NEVER spam clients or candidates
- We don't require an elaborate and annoying candidate registration
process. Simply find a jobs you like and apply
- Simple site design, no distracting banner ads
- Automated recruiting systems and resume filtering
- We are often contacted by fellow engineers to manage their
recruiting on site
- Customer screening (that's right, we actually refuse customers
if they don't have a track record of solid management)
If you would like to post a job on the ejob and JobExplorer systems,
please send an email to sales@ejob.com
